CRTC sets more determinations on next-gen 9-1-1 network design

OTTAWA – The CRTC issued more determinations on next-generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) network design efficiencies Thursday as it moves to connect Canadians will new and improved emergency services with Internet Protocol-based capabilities.Specifically, the Commission set out the roles and responsibilities with respect to the Location Information Server / Additional Data Repository (LIS/ADR) functionalities and its NG9-1-1 interconnection framework.
