TORONTO – The second season of CraveTV’s hit original comedy series Letterkenny will drop on Christmas Day.

Created and co-written by Jared Keeso, Season 2 sees the return of hick-with-a-heart-of-gold Wayne (Keeso) and the rest of small-town foes The Hicks, The Skids, and The Hockey Players.  The Season 2 cold open was released Monday.

"Already an iconic original series, we're excited to gift subscribers another must-stream season of Letterkenny," said CTV and Specialty SVP Mike Cosentino, in the news release. "Still a top performer in the CraveTV lineup, we know fans are hungry for more and are confident Season 2 will deliver a most bingeable Christmas."

Season 3 is set to begin production on location in Sudbury, ON in 2017.

Letterkenny is produced by New Metric Media, in partnership with DHX Media in association with Bell Media.
