Crave’s new French-language original available in English, too

TORONTO – Bell Media’s Crave’s today said its new French-language original series, Sortez-Moi De Moi, will debut Friday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET.

Marking a first for the streamer, the series will also be available for English-language audiences with subtitles. All six one-hour episodes of the psychological thriller will drop on Crave – in both French and English – that day.

The original production features Vincent Leclerc, Pascale Bussières, Sophie Lorain, Émile Proulx-Cloutier, Valérie Blais, Bruno Marcil, Danielle Proulx, Émile Schneider, and Sandra Dumaresq. Sortez-Moi De Moi is based on an original idea by Sophie Lorain and Alexis Durand-Brault. Durand-Brault also directs the series.

The drama takes viewers inside the world of mental health care, with Dr. Justine Mathieu (Bussières) following patients brought to her by emergency care front-line responders Clara St-Amand (Lorain), Myriam Melançon (Dumaresq), and Gabriel Beauregard (Marcil). Despite her misgivings, Dr. Mathieu is attracted to a new patient, David Ducharme (Leclerc), who is struggling with a bipolar episode. Their secret relationship grows more and more compromising. Meanwhile, Clara and Gabriel handle difficult cases in the field while facing their own family problems.
