Crave orders second season of ‘Project Runway Canada’


Bell Media’s Crave on Monday announced the fashion reality competition series Project Runway Canada has been greenlit for a second season.

Produced by Bell Media in association with Fremantle, and in collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Fashion, Season 2 of Project Runway Canada “will see more of the country’s most exciting designers competing in a captivating series of challenges for their ultimate industry breakthrough,” said a Crave press release.

Coco Rocha returns as host and judge and will once again be joined by judges Jeanne Beker and Spencer Badu. Aurora James is also set to return as mentor to the designers. Season 2 will begin production this summer in Toronto, and is scheduled to debut on Crave later this year.

The Project Runway format is licensed for Canada from Fremantle. Spyglass Media Group owns the format for Project Runway.
