MONTREAL — Bell Media announced today a new documentary series, Les Soeurs Dufour-Lapointe: D’un rêve àl’autre (The Dufour-Lapointe Sisters: From One Dream to Another), will premiere on Crave on Dec. 2.
The eight-episode, 30-minute docuseries portrays Olympic freestyle skiing champions Maxime, Justine and Chloé Dufour-Lapointe as they experience one of the most eventful years of their lives, explains a Bell Media press release.
“Between Chloé and Justine’s preparations for qualifying for the Beijing Games, Maxime’s medical studies, their new company Tissées serrées (Tight Knit) and their mother’s health problems, the three sisters’ lives are picking up speed and they are not afraid of obstacles!” says an English translation of the release.
“Together, they plan their after-sports careers, take on new challenges related to the launch of their clothing line and seek, united, a balance through their busy schedules.”
“By watching the series, one realizes how extraordinary the life of the Dufour-Lapointe sisters is! Despite a life full of challenges, their solidarity through adversity inspires and that is precisely what makes the strength of this series,” says Mélanie Bhérer, general manager of variety, lifestyle, documentary and digital content at Bell Media, in the English-translated release.
Les Soeurs Dufour-Lapointe: D’un rêve à l’autre is produced by KOTV in collaboration with Bell Media and is directed by Maude Sabbagh.
All episodes of the series will be available in full on Crave starting Dec. 2. In addition, beginning Jan. 3, the series will air on Canal Vie from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
