TORONTO – J. D. Craig Holdings, a company controlled by J. Drew Craig, the co-executive chairman of Craig Wireless Systems, said today it has acquired one million subordinate voting shares of the company in a private agreement, at a price of $0.39 per share.
The shares represent approximately 2.26% of the issued and outstanding subordinate voting shares of CWS. In addition, since April 23, 2008, Craig said that he has directly acquired an additional 69,900 subordinate voting shares of CWS in the public market, representing, in the aggregate together with the shares, ownership or control, directly or through JDC, of approximately 2.42% of the outstanding subordinate shares of CWS.
Together with his brothers Boyd Craig and Miles Craig, they hold 71.14% of the issued and outstanding subordinate voting shares of CWS and 100% of the issued and outstanding multiple voting shares of CWS. In the aggregate, the holdings of the Craig family represent 73.34% of all of the issued and outstanding equity of CWS.
