
TORONTO – Bell Media’s CP24 and CHUM 104.5 announced Wednesday the launch of the 57th annual CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish toy drive campaign.
Known as The Wish, the Toronto-wide initiative kicks off Thursday, Nov. 16 and runs until Sunday, Dec. 24 at 12 p.m. ET. To mark the campaign’s launch, CP24 will broadcast a live fundraising event on Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
Financial donations can be made online at TheWish.ca or in $10, $20 and $25 denominations by texting WISH to 30333.
Unwrapped toy donations for newborns and children up to 18 years old are being accepted in the main lobby of the Bell Media Studios building at 299 Queen Street West in Toronto and at The Wish Warehouse at 1366 Blundell Road in Mississauga.
In addition, The Wish has introduced a new tap-to-donate option where people can tap their credit or debit cards to donate $2, $5 or $10 at the two toy drop-off locations.
