Court orders Videotron to reveal identity of Internet customer defaming golfer Mickelson

MONTREAL – Videotron has ten days to turn over the name of one of its Internet customers who allegedly posted “highly defamatory" comments about pro-golfer Phil Mickelson. According to a Postmedia report, a Montreal lawyer for the American athlete said that a Quebec Superior Court judge has granted a court order forcing Videotron to release the identity and coordinates of the author of several "vexatious statements" posted on a Yahoo! website.
