Court grants Look’s injunction against Bell Canada

TORONTO – Look Communications Inc. has won a court injunction against Bell Canada preventing the telco from pulling its services. The two companies have been in a billing dispute for several months over several million dollars. The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has granted a temporary injunction preventing Bell Canada from interfering in any way with the telecommunications services it provides to the MDS service. The injunction’s terms include an arrangement where Look will pay Bell Canada $360,000 a month dating from May 1, 2007. Look may not “encumber or transfer” its spectrum without the court’s consent.
