Court action planned against CanWest’s AA purchase: Report

TORONTO – The unitholders of Alliance Atlantis' 51%-owned Movie Distribution Income Fund are going to court to attempt to block the purchase of Alliance Atlantis by Goldman Sachs and CanWest Global, according to a story in the Globe and Mail.The contention of the unitholders is that they should be able to choose any partner when Goldman sells off the majority ownership of the movie distributor.
