Corus Entertainment announced Monday its nationally syndicated talk radio program The Ben Mulroney Show is expanding with the launch of a new YouTube channel, starting June 9.
Heard weekdays across the Corus Talk network of radio stations and as a Curiouscast podcast, The Ben Mulroney Show is now available in video format on YouTube — “giving fans a front-row seat to the hit show that listeners love,” said a Corus press release Monday.
Hosted by Ben Mulroney (former co-host of CTV’s Your Morning and Etalk before leaving the Bell Media-owned network in 2021), The Ben Mulroney Show features the host’s “signature blend of bold conversation, sharp insight, and fearless interviews” with “timely takes on politics, pop culture, and stories that matter most to Canadians,” the press release said.
“The video show brings a dynamic new layer to the program experience, transforming the way audiences engage with each episode,” said Chris ‘Dunner’ Duncombe, Corus’s director of streaming and podcasting, in a statement. “The Ben Mulroney Show has quickly become one of the top podcasts on Curiouscast, with almost 1.3 million downloads in just the first few months. Now listeners can tune into the show and catch up on great conversation as if they’re in the room with Ben.”
“Talk radio is evolving, and so are we. With the incredible response to The Ben Mulroney Show across the Corus Talk Network and Curiouscast podcast network, it was clear that audiences wanted more — and on more platforms,” said Mike Bendixen, Corus’s national director of talk radio. “As part of that evolution, we’ve launched The Ben Mulroney Show YouTube channel, giving fans another way to connect with the stories and interviews they love.”
New video episodes of the program will be released daily on YouTube, and the audio podcast will continue to be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and wherever podcasts are found.
