Global TV announced Monday the addition of two new Fox unscripted series to its previously announced winter/spring 2024 programming slate.
The new trivia quiz show The Floor, hosted and produced by actor Rob Lowe, will premiere on Global on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Created by John de Mol (Big Brother, The Voice, Deal or No Deal), The Floor sees 81 contestants standing on 81 squares on a massive game show floor, competing for a $250,000 prize.
Premiering on Global on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, We Are Family is a music competition series, hosted by actor, comedian and producer Anthony Anderson alongside his mother, Doris Bowman, known as “Mama Doris”. The series “will showcase non-famous relatives of celebrities performing amazing solo performances and duets with their hidden famous family member,” according to a Corus press release.
These two new series join Global’s other January premieres, including Season 3 of musical guessing game I Can See Your Voice on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and the return of game show Raid the Cage, which will now premiere at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Jan. 3.
In its unveiling of its 2024 primetime TV premiere dates earlier this month, Global announced its lineup would include the premiere of one new drama series. Based on the popular The Good Wife and The Good Fight character Elsbeth Tascioni, Elsbeth starring Carrie Preston as the astute but unconventional lawyer will premiere on Global on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series is produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
