Corus Vancouver’s Del Gobbo steps down

VANCOUVER – Lou Del Gobbo, Corus Radio’s Vancouver cluster general manager, is retiring, says the company. He’s leaving the company on February 28th and a replacement will be named in January. Del Gobbo came to Corus in 2001 from Maple Leaf Foods, starting as vice-president finance for radio before moving to Vancouver as general manager in January 2002, overseeing CKNW, The Fox, Rock 101 and Mojo. “His contributions to the Vancouver cluster have been numerous and he was instrumental in overseeing CHMJ's transformation to MOJO Radio in 2004,” says Corus.
