TORONTO and MONTREAL – Corus Entertainment confirmed Tuesday that it will launch English- and French-language versions of Disney Channel in Canada on September 1st.But while Corus Média’s announcement said that the new La chaîne Disney will replace Télétoon Rétro, Corus Entertainment declined to reveal which English-language service would be rebranded or replaced. When contacted by Cartt.ca, a company spokesperson said that information could not be provided at this time, and that details on Disney Channel’s carriage distribution would be announced soon.
