Corus to debut new talk radio show on Canadian food industry April 12

Corus Entertainment announced Tuesday it’s adding a new six-part series exploring the business of food in Canada to its talk radio lineup.

Hosted by food experts Sylvain Charlebois and Michael LeBlanc, the new program Bite Sized will air on Corus radio stations across Canada beginning April 12.

“Dr. Sylvain Charlebois, known as ‘The Food Professor,’ is one of the most cited scholars in food supply chain management, food value chains and traceability with over 775 published journal articles,” reads a Corus announcement. “Sharing the mic with him is Michael LeBlanc, the president and founder of M.E. LeBlanc & Company Inc., keynote speaker and Canadian retail marketing expert whose passion lies in the Canadian retail and food industry.”

In Bite Sized, LeBlanc and Charlebois, a Dalhousie University professor and director of its Agri-Food Analytics Lab, “will dive into some of the biggest names in the food industry, challenging those responsible for putting products on Canadian shelves, and tracking how food gets from farm to table, and everything in between,” the Corus release said.
