Corus teams with Hearst for Cosmo TV

TORONTO – If all goes as hoped, Corus Entertainment will have a new channel aimed at young women come this fall. And the branding, Cosmo TV, could scarcely be better. The application for the new category two digital specialty channel went before the Commission in December and a decision is expected in the spring. The new channel will be jointly owned by Corus and American publisher Hearst Corporation, which owns the popular women's magazine.
