Corus Studios sells over 400 more episodes to Hulu

TORONTO – Corus Studios today announced it has secured its largest ever multi-year U.S. distribution deal with Hulu, including over 400 episodes of crime, renovation, lifestyle and unscripted content.

The deal adds to Corus Studios’ sale of over 200 episodes to Hulu announced last year, according to a press release.

“The expanded partnership includes the U.S. pre-sale of Pamela’s Garden of Eden (8×60) following iconic star Pamela Anderson (above) as she renovates her family home, amongst additional first-looks within the arrangement,” the press release says.

Among the other series Hulu has picked up are Crime Beat, Gut Job, Hoarder House Flippers, Buying the View, Baker Sisters and Wall of Chefs.

The deal with Hulu was brokered by Rita Carbone Fleury, worldwide sales lead for Corus Studios.

“Building on our valued partnership with Hulu, this agreement marks Corus Studios’ largest U.S. market distribution deal to date,” said Lisa Godfrey, senior vice-president of original content and Corus Studios, in the release.

“Corus Studios is known for its premium storytelling, and this output arrangement illustrates how our compelling slate of content across key genres is gaining significant traction in the highly competitive U.S. market.”
