Corus’ StackTV now available on FuboTV


TORONTO — Sports-first live streaming service FuboTV and StackTV, Corus Entertainment’s multichannel streaming service, announced today StackTV’s suite of content is now available as part of a new FuboTV premium subscription package.

Available to Canadian subscribers for $34.99 per month, FuboTV’s premium package bundles StackTV’s suite of programming with all 23 channels of FuboTV’s “essentials” package, which includes Premier League, Serie A, OneSoccer, CBC, beIN Sports, Paramount Network Canada and TYT, plus Fox Sports Racing, Big Ten Network, euronews, africanews and others, for a total of 42 channels in the package, according to information emailed to Cartt.ca by a FuboTV spokesperson.

“StackTV’s leading lifestyle and entertainment content bolsters FuboTV’s growing portfolio, creating a true cable TV replacement package,” said Mihir Shah, FuboTV’s senior director of content strategy and acquisition, in a press release.

“Our mission is to offer Canadian consumers a diverse range of news, entertainment, and sports programming, with something for everyone in the family,” Shah added.

The press release notes FuboTV’s premium subscription package will continue to expand in the coming months.

Speaking in the release about StackTV’s expanding distribution, Corus Entertainment’s vice-president of content distribution, Drew Robinson, said: “The expansion of StackTV underscores the attractive value provided to both viewers and partners as we deliver its premium content to more audiences where and when they want to watch it.

StackTV streams an exclusive library of scripted and unscripted series and news programs from 13 channels, including Global, HGTV Canada, Food Network Canada, W Network, Showcase, Slice, Adult Swim, National Geographic, Lifetime, The History Channel, Teletoon, Treehouse and YTV.

In addition to FuboTV, StackTV is currently available on Amazon Prime Video Channels and Rogers Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream.
