PETERBOROUGH — Corus Radio’s 101.5 The Wolf will broadcast a 12-hour tribute honouring frontline workers on Friday, May 15 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Inspired by the long shifts healthcare and other frontline workers are consistently putting in during the Covid-19 pandemic, Brian and Taylor of Wolf Mornings will be working their own 12-hour shift in an act of solidarity, says the news release.
All frontline workers are invited to make song requests and to share their stories at thewolf.ca/12-hour-tribute in advance of the broadcast. Friends and family members of frontline workers may also make advance requests to dedicate songs to loved ones.
Special guests will join the broadcast remotely, including Royal Tusk, Headstones, Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party, Monster Truck, Toronto Blue Jays telecaster Jamie Campbell, representatives from the YWCA, CMHA and more.
Taking place during National Nurses Week, the special broadcast is sponsored by The Staffing Connection and Level A Professional Group.
