Corus Radio to launch online radio station powered by citizen journalism

EDMONTON – Corus Radio will introduce an online, 24-hour all-news radio format in Edmonton on May 20 at 6 a.m. MT, it was announced Friday. The station, called iNews880, will have continuous 30-minute information packages featuring news, weather, traffic, business news, sports and local news from citizen journalists. The website (www.iNews880.com) will present critical news and issues through blogs, community news coverage and i-reports, said Corus.
