Corus Radio to launch online radio station powered by citizen journalism

EDMONTON – Corus Radio will introduce an online, 24-hour all-news radio format in Edmonton on May 20 at 6 a.m. MT, it was announced Friday. The station, called iNews880, will have continuous 30-minute information packages featuring news, weather, traffic, business news, sports and local news from citizen journalists. The website ( will present critical news and issues through blogs, community news coverage and i-reports, said Corus.
