TORONTO – Corus Entertainment has named Lars Wunsche as general manager, Southwestern Ontario for Corus Radio, effective immediately.
With this appointment, Wunsche (pictured) will assume overall responsibility of Corus Radio’s markets in London/Woodstock (AM980, 103.1 Fresh Radio, FM96 and Country 104), Kitchener (91.5 The Beat and 107.5 Dave Rocks) and Guelph (1460 CJOY and Magic 106.1), reads the announcement.
Most recently, Wunsche was general sales manager of national sales for Corus Radio where he was responsible for national sales and Corus’ relationship with Canadian Broadcast Sales (CBS). Prior to that, he served as general sales manager for Corus Radio Toronto, and was also general manager of Corus Radio Kitchener.
“Lars brings solid leadership skills, operational experience and strong revenue-generating capabilities to our Corus radio stations in Southwestern Ontario,” said Corus Radio and Corus Média president Mario Cecchini, in Friday’s announcement. “We are confident Lars will continue to grow market share and revenues in those Corus markets.”
