Corus promotes Papin, hires Cecchini

MONTREAL – Former Telemedia exec Mario Cecchini has been hired as vice-president, Montreal Region, and Jacques Papin promoted to vice-president, network at Corus Radio in Montreal. These appointments will take effect as of July 31, 2006, said Pierre Arcand, president of Corus Quebec. "Mr. Cecchini and Mr. Papin both have an enviable background in the Quebec radio world," said Arcand. "They will most certainly rise brilliantly to these new challenges."
