Corus extends 'Global National', 'The Morning Show' to new TV markets

TORONTO – Global News is expanding its early-evening national newscast Global National to four additional television markets plus will soon launch new local morning shows in two of them, the Corus-owned station said Thursday.Starting immediately, Global National will air on Newcap-owned CKSA in Lloydminster, on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, and will debut on Corus’ CKWS Kingston, CHEX Peterborough and Channel 12 Durham, all in Ontario, on September 6.
