TORONTO – Corus Entertainment on Monday announced concept and script development funding for 48 Canadian feature film projects through its Corus Made with Pay Fund.
The Corus Made with Pay Fund, which is administered by Movie Central, provides financial support to Canadian television and film productions at various stages of development.
“Recently, the Made with Pay Fund supported acclaimed films like Away From Her, Eastern Promises and the upcoming Fugitive Pieces, and we will continue to invest in new projects that have the potential to ensure the ongoing growth and success of the Canadian film industry,” said Movie Central VP of programming Erica Benson.

The Corus Made with Pay Fund approves funding for film projects on a quarterly basis. The next deadlines for applications are April 2, 2008 and July 2, 2008. Funding for television series is determined on an ongoing basis.
