Corus Custom launches “flexible” television advertising platform


CALGARY – Corus Custom Networks, a division of Corus Entertainment Inc., has launched in Canada FLEX-Advertising, a platform that allows clients to self-manage changes to information on their advertising creative and upload the changes for broadcast directly onto The TV Listings Channel.

Clients input any changes to their ad through a password-protected extranet that end up on The TV Listings Channel, which plays uninterrupted channel guide information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ads are run around the channel guide information.

“FLEX-Advertising has made television advertising as dynamic as Internet advertising,” said Corus Custom Networks vice-president and general manager Tyler Alton. “We are providing our clients with the opportunity to change their ads as often as they like, allowing them to keep their marketing messages current and their customers informed.”
