Corus announces fall lineup for YTV, Teletoon, Treehouse

TORONTO – Corus Entertainment announced today the fall lineups for YTV, Teletoon and Treehouse, which include new shows and spinoffs as well as the return of popular series.

On YTV, The Croods: Family Tree will premiere on Oct. 2 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. The series is “inspired by the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation film The Croods: A New Age,” a press release says.

The channel will also feature two spinoffs of SpongeBob SquarePants this fall. Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Year is a CG-animated prequel that follows a 10-year-old SpongeBob and his friends. The series will premiere on Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. The Patrick Star Show, follows a young Patrick “living at home with his family, where he hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood from his television-turned-bedroom,” the press release says. It will premiere on Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT.

Returning shows on YTV include season two of TrollsTopia on Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. ET/PT and season two of Kid Food Nation: The Show on Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.

On Teletoon, HBO Max Original series Tom & Jerry in New York will premiere on Sept. 18 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. In the show, “Tom is the resident mouser at the 5-star Royal Gate Hotel – and Jerry is the up-to-no-good resident mouse,” the press release reads.

HBO Max Original series Jellystone! will premiere on Teletoon on Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. ET/PT. The show “follows an ensemble of Hanna-Barbera characters as they live, work, play and (as is often the case), destroy the town in some silly way together,” says the press release.

Aquaman: King of Atlantis is another HBO Max Original set to premiere on Teletoon this fall. The show starts off “with Auquaman’s first day on the job as king of Atlantis,” according to the press release. “Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time, and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman is going to have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he’s the right man for the trident.”

On Treehouse, Warner Bros. original series Little Ellen will premiere on Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. ET. The animated series follows 7-year-old Ellen DeGeneres as she navigates life in New Orleans.

Also premiering on Treehouse is The Wiggles: Live from Hot Potato Studios on Oct. 9 at 1:25 p.m. ET/PT. The show is filmed live and “will keep kids entertained with songs, dances and fun,” the press release says.

Returning shows on Treehouse include season 52 of Sesame Street in November and season two of The-Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.

YTV and Teletoon are available on a National Free Preview from Nov. 1 to Dec. 18 and Oct. 1 to Oct. 31 respectively.

All three networks are available through all major TV distributors and the shows from all three networks are available for live and on demand streaming on STACKTV on Amazon Prime Video Channels.
