Corus announced Thursday that is has added The Vassy Kapelos Show to its roster of talk radio programs on the weekend.
The two-hour political show, which will feature “entertaining analysis and debate with major Canaidan political figures” and commentary on breaking news, will run across the Corus talk networks starting September 6 and every weekend following.
“We’re proud to continue our commitment to delivering the very best in Canadian content to our listeners,” Mike Bendixen, Corus’s national director of talk radio, said in a press release. “Partnering with Orbyt Media to bring The Vassy Kapelos Show to our national Talk Radio network reinforces our focus on smart, engaging programming that reflects the interests and conversations happening across the country.”
Ottawa-based Kapelos is the host of CTV’s weekly political journal Question Period and its daily political affairs program, Power Play.
The show will run at the following times:
- Vancouver (730 CKNW) Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
- Edmonton (880 CHED) Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
- Calgary (QR Calgary) Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
- London (AM 980) Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
- Toronto (640 Toronto) Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
- Winnipeg (680 CJOB) Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
