Copyright review to zero in on music, radio, TV, film

OTTAWA - The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology said that it will now shift its focus to the music, radio, television and film sectors as part of its statutorily mandated review of the Copyright Act.In a press release, the Committee invited Canadians to submit briefs on the topic of copyright and music, as well as copyright and television, film and radio, as early as possible, noting that it will begin its review of these sectors in early June.  It will, however, accept briefs throughout its review.Briefs must not exceed 2,000 words and may be sent to indu@parl.gc.ca  More...
