TORONTO – VoIP home phone and long distance provider Comwave has developed its own app for unlimited mobile calling.
Designed for the iOS, BlackBerry and Android platforms, the free downloadable mobile app allows smart phone users to make free local, North American and international long distance calls while keeping their existing mobile service provider and phone number by converting ‘outgoing’ calls into an ‘incoming’ call. The user must have unlimited incoming calls with their existing mobile provider to benefit from the value the app offers.
"Many mobile phone providers charge excessive rates for outgoing and long distance calls," said Abe Benitah, Comwave’s VP of marketing, in the news release. "Smart phone users are switching to a basic cellular plan with unlimited incoming calls and now use Comwave to turn outgoing local and long distance calls into free incoming calls."
Comwave is offering a free 30-day trial on all three mobile platforms. The app may be downloaded by searching ‘Comwave’ on BlackBerry App World, Android market or iTunes.
