CommTech East grows in year two

MISSISSAUGA – The second CommTech East show was a popular venue for technicians, technologists, buyers and vendors last week.

Show owner/organizer Linda Guzman said over 100 companies attended from the various industries that this show attracts.

New this year was a FTTH track organized by the FTTH Council Americas, followed by a popular welcome reception sponsored by several of their member companies. Also new were scheduled demos of new products at several of the booths.

The exhibitor forum (pictured) was expanded this year with over 85 vendors, and sold out with a waiting list.

The show is known for providing a large number of technical experts who are accessible over the two days that assist with trouble-shooting and finding business solutions for this ever-changing market. CommTech provides educational content options on both general and niche topics for inside and outside plant from cable, telecom, ISP, wireless, power and utilities. Sessions are chosen by a diverse and highly respected group of industry advisors.

Cartt.ca has been the main media sponsor for each of CommTech’s 10 year history.

Coming up next for CommTech is CommTech West, May 27-28 at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre, Calgary. There is also a CommTech Golf Tournament on May 26th in Calgary.
