CommTech 2020 early bird savings end March 14

MISSISSAUGA and CALGARY — CommTech Show organizers are reminding potential attendees there’s less than a week left to take advantage of early bird registration prices for this spring’s CommTech East and CommTech West shows.

CommTech East is scheduled to take place April 7 and 8 at the Mississauga Convention Centre, west of Toronto. CommTech West is scheduled for May 26 and 27 at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre.

Early bird savings for attendee registrations end March 14. Discounted rates begin at $125 for one day or $225 for two days. From March 15 until the day before each show starts, regular pricing is $150 for a one-day pass or $265 for a two-day pass. On-site registration costs $165 for one day or $275 for two days.

This year’s show schedules feature a special 5G seminar track. Chris Bastian, SVP & CTIO of SCTE-ISBE, is one of the speakers announced for CommTech East, where he will deliver a keynote with the title topic “Generic Access Platform Support for 5G”.

Also scheduled to speak at CommTech East are: Laura Bradley, general manager of YorkNet, a company owned by the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario which operates and maintains a dark fibre network that offers connectivity to municipal facilities; and Dr. Ann Cavoukian, former information and privacy commissioner of Ontario and one of the world’s leading privacy experts.
