TORONTO (July 23, 2013) – Comedy Gold announced today it is offering a free preview of its lineup of classic sitcoms from the 70s, 80s and 90s for the month of August.
The freeview begins August 1 and will feature classic series including Full House, Who’s the Boss, Growing Pains and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Comedy Gold will also add the popular 90s sitcom Wings to its lineup on August 3.
The August freeview schedule also includes a number of marathons for serious binge viewing, starting with a Wings Civic Holiday Marathon from August 3 to 5. A Back to School Marathon is on tap from August 31 to September 2, with back-to-back episodes of Full House, Growing Pains, Who’s the Boss and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Bell Media’s Comedy Gold free preview runs until September 3, and is available nationally on Bell TV and regionally via other distributors.
