SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Cartt.ca editor and publisher Greg O’Brien will be one of three judges tasked with shortlisting the 2015 nominees for Tuned-in Canada: the CCSA Awards. Joining him on the judging panel will be celebrated Canadian comedian Ron James and TV5 Québec Canada president and CEO Suzanne Gouin.
“We are absolutely thrilled and grateful to have such a high-profile group of judges this year,” said Alyson Townsend, CCSA president and CEO. “Their involvement will undoubtedly raise awareness for Tuned-in Canada and our celebration of excellence in cable service delivery, community-mindedness and content development.”
The three-judge panel will make the final nomination cut, shortlisting the nominees down to four per category. Nomination categories include: I *heart* customer service; I *heart* public service/community-building efforts; I *heart* local programming — in news, sports and entertainment; and best on-camera community channel personality.
The nomination process will run between February 17 and March 17, 2015. Nominations can be made online by CCSA members and their customers/subscribers across the country, at www.tunedincanada.com/nominate.
