SAINT-LAURENT, QC – Colba.Net Telecom Inc. said Monday that it has amalgamated with its wholly-owned subsidiary Colba.Net Inc. effective January 1, 2012. The amalgamation was completed by way of a vertical short-form amalgamation under the Canada Business Corporations Act, the company said in a statement. Telecom will carry on its business under the name Colba.Net Telecom Inc. and its French version Télécom Colba.Net Inc., and its shares will remain listed on the Canadian National Stock Exchange under the stock symbol "CB".
