Cogeco to issue $1.5B in debt securities

MONTREAL – Cogeco announced today it has filed a preliminary short form base shelf prospectus with Canadian securities regulatory authorities for up to $1.5 billion of debt securities. These debt securities may be offered periodically over a 25-month period during which the short form base shelf prospectus remains valid. The company says specific terms of any debt securities will be described in one or more shelf prospectus supplements to be filed with the securities regulatory authorities.
