Cogeco launches Rovi apps for remote access to TV services

MONTREAL and SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Cogeco Cable and Rovi Corporation announced the launch of two new interactive applications, Cogeco Remote Recorder powered by Rovi TV Listings and TotalGuide xD, that will allow Cogeco’s subscribers to access TV schedules on their set-top PVR devices from web-enabled devices. Cogeco says its subscribers can use the apps to browse the TV listings, explore programs, find what to watch, and remotely schedule recordings for viewing at a later time and date.
