MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable has rolled out its Ultimate 30 and Ultimate 50 high speed Internet packages for consumers in Napanee, ON, as well as its new Business Ultimate 30 and Ultimate 50 packages for businesses.
Powered by DOCSIS 3.0, Cogeco says the packages offer advantages in speed and pricing compared to competitors in its footprint. The Ultimate 30 package offers speeds of up to 30 Mbps for downloads and up to 1.5 Mbps for uploads with a monthly download cap of 125 GB. For the Ultimate 50 package, speeds can reach 50 Mbps for downloads and 1.5 Mbps for uploads with a monthly download cap of 150 GB.
For Cogeco’s television or home phone customers, the Ultimate 30 package costs $59.95 per month, and Ultimate 50, $99.95 per month. Customers who subscribe only to Cogeco Internet service will pay $64.95 per month for Ultimate 30 and $104.95 per month for Ultimate 50, which includes security services and modem rental at no extra charge.
The majority of Cogeco’s customers who currently subscribe to the Business HSI Enterprise service in Napanee will be upgraded to the Ultimate 50 package at no extra cost, and both packages are available immediately to new customers as well.
The Business Ultimate 30 package offers a 300 Go data transfer limit, download speeds of up to 30 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps, and costs $129.95 per month with a three-year commitment, $139.95 per month with a twelve-month commitment, and $149.95 with no commitment. Business Ultimate 50 offers a download speed of up to 50 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps, and costs $189.95 per month with a three-year commitment, $199.95 per month with a twelve-month commitment, and $209.95 with no commitment.
Both Business HSI packages include modem rental, security services, and a 100 MB capacity per email addresses, and Cogeco guarantees its prices for the length of the commitment.
