
MONTREAL — Cogeco Connexion is getting a refreshed look with a new brand identity being unveiled today in an advertising campaign launched in Quebec and Ontario. The new tagline “Switch on Amazing” will feature in Cogeco Connexion’s branding going forward.
“Switch on Amazing is a tagline that embodies our commitment to offering our clients an unmatched experience at every level of interaction with Cogeco,” Daniel Boisvert, vice-president of marketing and innovation for Cogeco Connexion, said in a news release.
The “Switch on Amazing” branding was developed to showcase the company’s distinctive strengthens in providing the best customer service in its industry and being a technological pioneer with a powerful fibre optic network, Cogeco said.
“This new brand identity is inspired by our ability to innovate and deliver outstanding client experiences,” Louise St-Pierre, president and CEO of Cogeco Connexion, said in the news release. “This new branding reflects the advanced technologies we leverage to drive our operations and meet the growing needs of our customers in the consumer and business segments.”
In terms of advertising creative, the new branding’s distinctive visual elements include a new colour palette and a new typography specific to Cogeco, the company said. To launch the new brand identity, Cogeco developed an extensive, integrated campaign encompassing radio spots, a TV commercial, billboards, print material and an online presence.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Cogeco Communications, Cogeco Connexion provides residential and small business customers with video, high-speed Internet, and telephony services through its broadband cable networks in Quebec and Ontario.
