MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable has named Richard Shea as president and CEO of its American subsidiary Atlantic Broadband, and David Isenberg as its president and chief revenue officer, effective January 1st.
Current president, CEO and company co-founder Edward Holleran has decided to step down from his position effective January 1, 2015, but will stay on as vice president of industry relations on a part-time basis.
Both Shea and Isenberg have been with Atlantic Broadband since it was founded in 2003. Shea began his career with the company as chief information officer and has served as chief operating officer the past two years, while Isenberg, who started as senior director of products, has been chief marketing and strategy officer since 2012.
"This structure recognizes the complementary roles that Richard and David will have in the leadership of Atlantic Broadband going forward," said Cogeco Cable president and CEO Louis Audet, in the announcement. "I'm confident that, with their years of experience at Atlantic Broadband since its very beginnings, having gained a wealth of knowledge on our business and our markets and a deep understanding of our customers, Richard and David will each play a key role in leading Atlantic Broadband to reach new summits. I am also very pleased that Edward will continue to serve as part of the Atlantic Broadband management team. As co-founder of Atlantic Broadband, his experience and relationships in the cable industry will be of great value to us going forward.”
