TORONTO – Canadian Music Week has announced the nominees for 9th annual Independent Music Awards, better known as “The Indies”.The Indies acknowledge, promote and honour achievements of Canadian and international artists in the independent music sector. The awards will be handed out March 14, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
