TORONTO – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) wants to turn Canadians on to its new contest designed to raise awareness about the organization, and to help draw the connection between the shows they love to watch and the funding agency that supports them.
The contest, called ‘Turn On Canada’, will features a first place prize of a VIP weekend for two to Montréal, including transportation, two nights’ accommodation, and tickets to the 2010 Prix Gémeaux gala.
In one game, hints related to a television program are provided and players must select the correct show from a list of CMF-funded shows. In another game, players will test their memory as they locate pairs of matching images of CMF-funded shows and matching icons for a variety of media platforms supported by the CMF.
