CMF offers new incentive for digital media international co-pros

TORONTO - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) is launching a new pilot program designed to stimulate digital media co-productions between Canadian producers and their international counterparts. The $350K Digital Media Co-Production Incentive is available to production companies who apply to the incentive between October 1 through November 26, 2013, or until the funds are depleted.  Eligible projects could be a digital media component of a convergent project as set out in the Convergent Stream programs or an eligible project under the Experimental Stream.  Details on the guidelines are available here. “Canada is recognized by other countries as a leader in...
