CMF invests $639,000 in European co-productions

TORONTO — The Canada Media Fund (CMF), in partnership with three international funding organizations, will collectively invest more than $1.1 million in eight projects codeveloped and coproduced between Canadian producers and several in Germany, Luxembourg and Northern Ireland. The three international funding organizations — Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (MBB), Film Fund Luxembourg (FFL) and Northern Ireland On Screen (NIS) — will approximately match the CMF’s total investments of $639,000 in co-development and coproduction projects, says the news release.
