CMF invests $5.5M in 16 projects via English POV program

TORONTO - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) is contributing $5.5 million to 16 projects that applied for funding through the 2016-2017 English Point-of-View (POV) Program.Twelve of the 16 approved projects have a digital media component, while one has a video on demand component. A total of $4.2 million are allocated to projects’ television components, while $1.3 million will go to digital media and VOD components.One of the projects is from British Columbia, one is from Manitoba, one is from Nova Scotia, eight are from Ontario and five are from Quebec.
