CMF funding generates $1.4 billion in total activity, says annual report

TORONTO — Funding by the Canada Media Fund (CMF) in its last fiscal year triggered $1.4 billion in production industry activity across the country, according to CMF’s newly published 2019-2020 annual report. According to the CMF news release today, the report found one dollar of CMF funding generated $4.12 in production activity, the highest leverage ratio since the CMF was created in 2010.
