CMF announces $19 million in emergency funds now available

TORONTO – The Canada Media Fund today announced a new initiative to support Canada’s film and TV makers. A total of $19 million is being made available, which includes $12 million in emergency support funds announced in July 2020 and an additional $7 million top-up made recently by the Government of Canada. The funds are part of the federal government’s Phase 2 Covid-19 Emergency Support designated for the cultural, heritage and sport sectors.
