Cloudli launches Cloudli Connect for small businesses

MONTREAL – Voice, data and messaging solutions provider Cloudli Communications (formerly Babytel) announced yesterday the launch of Cloudli Connect in Canada.

Cloudli Connect is “a new cloud-based business phone system that equips small businesses (SMBs) with unified voice and texting capabilities,” a press release explains.

“Although SMBs have communication needs similar to larger enterprises, cloud-based technologies offering modern business phone functionality can come at a premium that doesn’t make sense for small businesses. Cloudli Connect solves the specific business communications challenges facing this segment.”

The cost of Cloudli Connect is determined based on the needs of individual businesses rather than on a flat rate.

This means, for example, costs for phone service can be shared across multiple users, benefitting businesses that may have employees who need service, but rarely use their phone lines.

“In addition to supporting business voice, Cloudli Connect also permits SMBs to enable SMS and MMS messaging for their users via the Cloudli app,” the press release says.

Other enhanced features available include Microsoft Teams integrations, contact centre, automated attendant and virtual receptionist console.

“Cloudli Connect brings together enterprise-quality voice and texting with a pricing model that makes it easy for SMBs to do business,” said Gavin Macomber, CEO of Cloudli, in the press release.

“Small businesses are often an afterthought in the design of business communications platforms. We developed Cloudli Connect specifically to meet the needs of this segment, allowing SMBs of all sizes to access a bespoke communications solution tailored to solve their unique business challenges.”
