Clearwire oks $2.2 billion bid from Sprint for 100% control

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. and BELLEVUE, WASH - Clearwire Corp is selling its remaining stake for $2.2 billion to majority shareholder Sprint Nextel Corp in a move that would give it full control over Clearwire’s 2.5 GHz spectrum assets it can exploit to offer new high-speed wireless services.
