
TORONTO — Citytv announced Tuesday its summer lineup of primetime programming, which includes a new matchmaking reality show with a twist and an offshoot of The Bachelor that looks at the franchise’s most dramatic seasons.
Premiering Thursday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET and hosted by Kristin Davis (Sex and the City), the new eight-part series Labor of Love follows career woman Kristy Katzmann on her unconventional journey toward motherhood as she’s matched with 15 potential suitors competing to be both partner and co-parent.
Beginning on Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET, the 10-part series The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever! will let the show’s fans relive the highs and lows of a particularly juicy season each episode. Host Chris Harrison will invite fan-favourite Bachelor alumni to dish the dirt via virtual chat.
Citytv’s summer schedule will also see the return of America’s Got Talent, with season 15 premiering Tuesday, May 26 at 8 p.m. ET. New judge Sofia Vergara will join Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, alongside host Terry Crews.
Hosted by Steve Harvey, an all-new season of Celebrity Family Feud will premiere Sunday, May 31 at 8 pm. ET, with a head-to-head matchup between the Queer Eye original team, led by Carson Kressley, and the new class members from Netflix’s Queer Eye, led by Bobby Berk.
Also on Sunday nights, beginning May 31 at 9 p.m. ET, an all-new season of Press Your Luck will see contestants vie for life-changing cash and prizes while trying to avoid the iconic and devilish Whammy.
