TORONTO – Citytv is offering early risers the day’s news even earlier starting next month with the launch of CityNews at Five plus an earlier start to its popular morning show brand Breakfast Television.
Launching September 5 at 5:00 AM in the Greater Toronto Area, CityNews at Five will be helmed by veteran news anchors Tom Hayes, Francis D’Souza and Avery Haines. In addition, Breakfast Television will hit the airwaves 30 minutes earlier, beginning at 5:30 AM starting September 6 in all markets across the country.
